About Solid Foundations

Amy Jackson

Amy is a 1996 graduate of Sam Houston State University and is an invaluable leader to Solid Foundations. Upon graduating from college, she and Don started Don Jackson Homes and soon after, Solid Foundations. Amy manages reports, taxes, and financial aspects of the company. She and Don are active volunteers at their church, school, and youth rodeos. Amy’s leadership and ambition are a driving force behind the success of Solid Foundations.

Tim Glassel

Tim was the first superintendent Solid Foundations hired in 2001 and turned out to be a huge asset to the company. Tim’s hard work and dedication to getting things done has made him a favorite subcontractor to everyone he works with. Tim handles all of the Woodlands, Spring, and Magnolia areas.

Ivan Martinez

Ivan started as a part time helper in 2002 and through hard good decision making and a willingness to learn he earned the job as a superintendent. Ivan currently takes care of both residential and commercial work on the south side of Houston.

Chuy Rangel

Chuy stepped into Ivan’s job in 2004 when Ivan was promoted to superintendent. He too was quickly promoted to superintendent because of his hard work and commitment to customer satisfaction. Chuy is currently taking care of the Conroe, Porter area and assists Tim in the Woodlands area.

Shaun Nelson

Shaun is a third generation concrete contractor and has been in the concrete business all of his life. The knowledge and get-it-done attitude he brings to Solid Foundations always produces a successful job. Shaun started with Solid Foundations in 2004 and runs much of the commercial site work and concrete operations.

Brian Harris

Brian has been involved in concrete construction for over 10 years with a heavy background in commercial concrete. He has been with Solid Foundations since 2006 and his tenacious work ethic is always appreciated by anyone he works with. Brian is currently in charge of central Texas operations with much of his work around the San Antonio, New Braunfels area.

Trent Pesky

Trent is a 2002 graduate of Texas A & M and has been with Solid Foundations since 2009. Trent has a residential construction background and has adapted very nicely to the concrete industry. Trent is currently handling both commercial and residential projects in the Houston and Beaumont areas.

Jay Holmes

Jay is a 1994 graduate of Texas A & M and joined Solid Foundations in January of 2010. He has been in residential construction for over 15 years. Jay’s precise attention to detail and decision making skills has been a great addition to the team. Jay is in charge of our DFW operations.

Shanna Hendrix

Shanna is a 1996 graduate of Sam Houston State and graduated Suma Cum Laude with an Accounting degree. Shanna has been the CPA for Solid Foundations since 2004. Shanna plays a key role in keeping all the finances in order in addition to building good job reports to keep us running efficient. Shanna is an invaluable asset to the company.

Sara Hendrix

Sara is a 2010 graduate of Sam Houston State with a degree in Accounting. Sara started with Solid Foundations in 2005 and continues to add value to the company. Sara is also invaluable to the company and is fluent in Spanish allowing communication between the field and office to flow seamlessly.
